"Wiskunde is Pret" -

The workbook "Wiskunde is Pret" provides the learner with tried and tested methods, examples and explanations which promote, and consolidate mathematical knowledge and skills.  These skills, when developed, form a firm basis for the insight necessary for successful outcomes-based projects.

• Modules:        

The workbook consists of 4 modules, one for each term.

• Learning outcomes:

The five learning outcomes, with specific assessment criteria, area covered separately and progressively in al 4 modules.

• Self-assessment tests:                           

Continuous self-assessment tests are included to enable the learner, parent and educator to keep abreast of the learner's progress.

• Problem areas:

Before the start of a new module, consolidation tests are set to enable both the educator and the learner to identify any existing problem areas.

The main aim of the workbook "Wiskunde is Pret", is to make mathematics as accessible as is possible, to the learner, educator and parent.  This workbook sets a standard which enables the learner to successfully progress to the next grade.
